World Relief Seattle

Refugees and Immigrants Welcomed by Community, Rooted in Community, & Empowered for Community.

World Relief Seattle

World Relief Seattle has worked since 1979 to empower the local Church to serve refugees and immigrants in the Greater Seattle Area. In community with the local Church, World Relief Seattle envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially, and spiritually.

Thousands of refugees reside in Kent, giving the church an opportunity to reach the nations and follow the call to welcome the stranger right outside our doorstep. Engaging in local refugee ministry has shaped us to have a better understanding and heart for peoples from many different nations, and has helped us befriend our neighbors whom we may have easily overlooked.

Opportunities to Serve

Consider becoming a Cultural Companion or serving at the annual World Relief Christmas Party, hosted by Calvary Chapel South the first Monday in December.
