Alaska Outreach Trip 2025

Partner with the young adults through Support and prayer.

Why Alaska?

Great question! For us, it comes down to two things: Relationship and Opportunity.

First, Relationship. As a church, we are connected to Alaska through the Beaver family. Dwayne and Cheri, along with their kids, Nathaniel, Lillyana, and Silas, moved to Alaska a few years ago to take over a small church. Since then, they have been teaching the Word and being a light in the Fairbanks community, seeing much fruit from their efforts. When talks began about the possibility of CCS sending a team, it was very exciting to consider partnering with them.

Second, Opportunity. It has been said that Seattle is the church graveyard of the country. Many pastors have come to the Seattle area in hopes of planting a church and bringing light to this dark area. Just like Seattle, Alaska has its challenges. In general, people from Alaska have a "last frontier" mindset, with a strong sense of self-reliance. This can be problematic when preaching Jesus, as the Gospel points out our need for help and not our ability to be our own savior. This is where our team would come in, helping to bring the Gospel into the city and be a part of building up the local church!

So, what are you waiting for? Let's take this opportunity to step out in faith and serve the Lord in Alaska!

Note from Team Lead/Prayer List

Hey its Pastor Ronald. I hope you will prayerfully consider partnering with the young adults as we go to Alaska. My heart is that the young adults would develop a life long heart for missions on this trip. Rather they go and become a missionary in a far away land or just support missions financial, be a pray partner to a missionary, be an advocate for missions, or share the gospel right where they are. A heart thats for missions doesn’t need to be a missionary to have impact.

Please pray for:

  1. Being a Blessing to our partners
  2. For Dwayne and Cheri Beaver as they serve the local church
  3. A heart for missions for the 13 members of the team
  4. Future mission Trip Leaders to come out of this team
  5. Opportunities beyond this trip to be missional for each team member
