How do I memorize scripture? In a word, repetition. Different things work for different people. The key is that you have a desire and a commitment to stay at it. It also really helps to memorize with others. (Here are some great tips and tricks)

Memorize the verse word-perfect in whatever translation you'd like. Start with the topic, then recite the reference, then the scripture, then repeat the reference.

Example: "Christ the Center, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17"
