Hey, My name is Jared Stratton and I am one of the pastors at Calvary Chapel South. This church holds a special place in my heart, as it’s where I came to know Jesus after graduating high school back in 2000. Shortly after, I attended a semester of Bible college in Murrieta, California, where I met my wife. We have now been married 23 yrs. Most of our life together have been serving-and surfing-along the California coast. But now we are back, we are cold and ready to serve. I absolutely love the staff and I’m excited to be serving with them. I am currently serving in the Youth Ministry.

What unites us is the Love of God

We believe in creating a safe, fun and welcoming environment where students know they belong. We love because Christ first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

What equips us is the Word of God

We believe the Word of God is living, powerful, and necessary for all believers to have in their hearts. The Word equips us to follow Jesus and reveals His will. (Hebrews 4:12)

What empowers us is the Spirit of God

We believe that true ministry is impossible without the Spirit of God. It is the Spirit of God that empowers us to live like Christ. It enables us to show love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. It helps us reveal the character of Christ in our ministry. (Galatians 5:22-23)
