Help Make Christmas Merry & Bright
This Christmas, we’re partnering with Olive Crest to help make the holiday special for children and young adults connected to foster and adoptive families.
Last year, Olive Crest was able to deliver personalized Christmas gifts to more than 500 children. Many of the children served have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma, and a gift chosen especially for them can communicate something far greater than what’s inside the box. It reminds them that they are seen, valued, loved, and worth celebrating.
The gifts also support Olive Crest’s Independent Living Skills (ILS) clients, youth ages 15–23 who have experienced foster care and are transitioning toward independence. For some of these young adults, the gifts they receive may be the only Christmas gifts they receive.
How You Can Help
Choose a child from the gift tags in the lobby on November 1st and 8th and purchase at least one of their three suggested gifts. You are welcome to purchase all three if you would like! Return gift(s) to CCS by November 29th.
Please remember:
- Gifts should be unwrapped.
- Keep the original gift tag attached to the gift.
- If the tag is misplaced, please clearly label the gift with the child’s name and number.
- Gift requests are intended to be $30-50 per child.
Your generosity can help bring joy, hope, and a little extra Christmas cheer to children and young adults who deserve to feel remembered and celebrated this Christmas.
