When you walk along the road. When you sit in your house. When you lie down. When you get up. DEUTERONOMY 6 describes the everyday opportunities to disciple our families.
Discipleship is not an event—it’s a way of life. It is built on disciplined, oft-repeated routines, woven into the fabric of everyday living increasing the children’s stickability of those daily disciplines into adulthood to share with the next generation.
God’s plan emphasized everyday teachable moments as we share our faith with our families and others. Churches partner with parents and adult mentors to have intentional faith conversations with children and step into each opportunity to connect with the hearts of another generation.
Together, churches and families, let’s focus on discipleship every day!
