Foster + Adopt Ministry

Serving adoptive and foster-care families.

Foster Adopt Ministry

Foster Adopt Ministry (FAM) is a community committed to providing Gospel-centered care to families brought together by foster care and adoption. Our goal is to serve families in four ways:

  • Provide Care Teams to foster and adoptive families who need support.

  • Serve at our FAM Nights hosted at CCS every 1st Friday of the month @ 6pm. Come help with the meal or activities with the kids while parents with adopted or foster children engage in a faith-based support group.

  • Collaborate with the larger foster/adopt community in South King County.

  • Want support as you consider fostering or adoption? There are a team of resourceful leaders at CCS ready to help you through the process. Email Rosy for more information.

Olive Crest Partnership

We are partnering with Olive Crest to make sure every child in our community has a safe, loving home.

Opportunities to Serve

We are looking for individuals, families, or small groups to build relationships with some wonderful foster/adopt kids and their families in our church! You can make a difference in the life of a child.

Join a Care Team

Care Teams provide prayer and practical support to families brought together by foster care and adoption. Your unique gifts, skills, and abilities will be matched with a family that would be blessed by them!

Support an Event

FAM hosts events to build community at CCS, support our neighbors at DSHS, and encourage and connect with the foster/adopt community in the South Sound area. You can help set up, host, clean up, or provide babysitting for an event.

To better place you into a Care Team or into a support role, please complete the FAM Interest Form.

Give Financially

Your financial contributions bless families with a new or challenging placement and supports the foster/adopt community of families, care teams and supporters.
