We Love Our Seniors

A Christmas Caroling Outreach to Seniors in Kent

SATURDAY, DEC. 19th , 2020

Many seniors are isolated from family and friends this Christmas season. Let’s come together as the Church and make sure they KNOW they are loved with the love of Jesus Christ! Bring the family and help us pull off a mini-Christmas miracle for our Kent-area seniors!

As a collective of churches, we’ll be touring a handful of local senior communities and performing a few (socially-distant) songs of hope from the parking lot, we’ll hold signs, and shout “WE LOVE YOU!”

Want to be involved? Here’s what to do:

Learn these songs: Angles We have Heard on High | Joy to the World | Go Tell it on the Mountain

Pick an outfit (white, red or Christmas sweater... bonus points if your clothes light up)

Make a sign (get creative and let em’ know they're loved)

Show Up: On Dec 19th at 9AM at the Calvary Chapel South Parking Lot for cocoa, candy canes, and a quick orientation

1340 West Smith Street Kent WA 98032

Our caroling set will only take 10-15 minutes, but we will perform at 4 different communities.

Potential Schedule (subject to change)

9:45AM SHAG Community #1

10:15AM SHAG Community #2

10:45AM SHAG Community #3

11:30AM Senior Community #4

(Plan on either a short drive or a short walk to each location, maps will be provided at orientation)

Note* We will be outdoors the entire time, enabling us to space out as much as we want. Be sure to dress warm.

Want to do more?

If additional churches, volunteers and funds become available, we’ll also drop off handwritten Christmas cards and devotionals.
